Channel 6 News is a news program airing on Channel 6, Springfield's most popular local TV channel.

Description[edit]

The show is anchored by Kent Brockman, who frequently presents the news in an openly biased and politically incorrect manner. Scott Christian is the weekend anchorman.[1]

Traffic news with Arnie Pye in his helicopter. The helicopter once crashed although Pye was alive still.

History[edit]

After Kent Brockman was fired, Arnie Pye temporarily became the new anchorman, replacing Kent until Kent was brought back.[2]

There was a behind-the-scenes scandal when Kent Brockman started dating and then married Stephanie Brockman.[3]

Rachel Maddow once worked for Channel 6 News before getting her own show on MSNBC.[4]
