GimmeChow is a food delivery company. The CEO of the company is Finn Bon Idée.

Description[edit]

GimmeChow allows customers to order food to be delivered from GimmeChow's ghost kitchens. While customers may think they're ordering food from different places, it's all being made in one place under different names.

History[edit]

When Marge needed to get a job to help pay for Gwyneth Poultry's medical bills, she got a job at GimmeChow. At first, she was happy to be working as a chef but quickly became overwhelmed by the work. However, she and the other employees kept going because they were promised overtime pay. After two months of working on the job, GimmeChow management made the employees wear ankle monitors to keep them working. However, the employees still hadn't received their overtime payment, so Marge went to Gil Gunderson, who was their shift manager, to ask him about it. Gil told Marge that management said that since they work past midnight, those overtime hours count as a new day so they don't get overtime.

After Marge found out that Finn Bon Idée had become a billionaire from GimmeChow, Lisa convinced her to start a workers union. When Marge brought up the union to the other employees, they weren't so sure. However, the ankle monitors had listened in on the conversation and management decided to show them an anti-union cartoon in an attempt to turn them off joining a union. However, the cartoon had the opposite effect and everyone joined the union. Due to Marge instigating the union, she was "promoted" to delivery driver and made to deliver 40 meals in 60 minutes, or she would be fired. When Marge got to the last address, she found out that it was her own house and dropped the food on the floor. Due to failing to deliver the meal, she was fired.

After Marge was fired, the other employees all decided to go on strike and went to get Marge as she was their strike leader, and every other delivery company also went on strike. Due to this, Homer couldn't get food delivered anymore. Homer then got a call from Bon Idée who made Homer the brand ambassador for GimmeChow in an attempt to get back at Marge. During the strike, a counter-protest broke out to try and get the employees back in the kitchen so they could get food delivered to them again. However, Bon Idée arrived in Springfield to tell everyone that they were now fired as they had automated the kitchen and were getting drones to deliver food to people. When Bon Idée congratulated Homer on stabbing his wife in the back, he went to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and caused an electromagnetic pulse to break all the drones. This led to stocks for GimmeChow tanking.
