The Springfield Speedway is a racetrack located in Springfield's bird sanctuary.

History[edit]

The Simpson family once went there to watch the Monster Truck Rally starring Truckasaurus, which crushes their car. Lance Murdock was injured while performing a stunt at the speedway.[1]

The Simpson family once visited Springfield Speedway, which was now located within the Springfield Nature Preserve. After they almost got hit by Clay Babcock's car, Bart was given a ride around the speedway with Clay Babcock. They were then given tickets to the race. During the race, cheerleader group Fan-Demonium performed a show where they fired T-shirts into the audience. When they fired T-shirts at Homer, they hit Maude Flanders instead, killing her.[2]
