As the business's name implies, Al's Towing provides towing services. Al's Towing is evidently also involved in vehicle repairs, at least to the extent of providing estimates.
History[edit]
When Ned Flanders attempted to make a documentary video about Springfield's historical points of interest, he found himself in the aftermath of a robbery at the Kwik-E-Mart. Robber Snake pressed Ned into service as a getaway driver and Apu leaped onto the car in pursuit of Snake. While Snake and Apu struggled, the car drew the attention of the Springfield Police. Chief Wiggum and Officer Lou, mistaking the car's occupants for joyriders, fired their guns at the car and ran it off the road, where it crashed.
A truck from Al's Towing arrived to tow Ned's badly damaged car away from the scene. After the driver hooked Ned's car up to the tow truck, he gave Ned a repair estimate for the damage to his car. When Ned saw the estimate, he tore his hair out in dismay.
