Burns and Co. Excellent Corn Syrup is a corn syrup factory in Springfield.

History

The employees at Burns and Co. Excellent Corn Syrup had to work double duty, building Mr. Burns' mansion at night in addition to their day jobs at the factory. After Mr. Burns refused to feed his employees on Thanksgiving, Homer, feeling hungry, tried eating from one of the vats of corn syrup. However, he fell in and accidentally pulled a chain that poured corn syrup throughout the factory, killing all the employees and turning them into ghosts.
