Springfield STEM Academy was a STEM school in Springfield, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

History

After Springfield claimed the sunken treasure that Captain Horatio McCallister found, they used it to fund the Springfield STEM Academy, with Zane Furlong as the CEO, or Collaborative Educational Outreacher. Bart started to excel at the new school due to the way things were taught there, with video game like learning, whilst Lisa was put into the gifted class. Eventually, Lisa started to grow suspicious of what the kids not in the gifted class were doing and eventually realized that they were being trained for mundane, minimum wage jobs. She tried to tell the other students about it but Bart, who had finally found a school he enjoyed, stopped her.

Eventually, Lisa went to the server room in the school to try and find out what was happening with the school's algorithms, only for Bart to stop her. Zane Furlong then found them arguing and the three of them looked up what jobs would be for humans in the future, only to find one, elder care. Once they told the students this, all of the students gave the school bad reviews, causing the school's servers to self-destruct.
