Location Information
|
Make Your Child a Movie Star is a kiosk seen at Springfield Mall. The kiosk lets people create low quality videos starring their children.
History
As Homer and Bart wandered through the mall looking for a birthday gift for Lisa, they came across the kiosk named Make Your Child a Movie Star. By using a photo of their kid, and then going through a number of customizable options, such as the setting and their child's favorite foods and hobbies, parents can create personalized videos. The videos themselves are incredibly cheesy, featuring bad animation and generic storylines.
After watching the video Ned Flanders had created for his son, Rod, an impressed Homer decided that Lisa would be happier with this instead of a Turbo Diary. Lisa however becomes angry because the video showed that Homer doesn't know her very well. This prompts Homer to hire a detective to find out more about Lisa so Homer will seem like a better parent.
Videos
- Ned makes a video starring Rod, titled "The Adventures of Spaceman Rod".
- Homer makes a video starring Lisa, titled "The Adventures of Lisa Simpson, Girl Cowboy".
