The Springfield Train Yard is a train yard in Springfield.

History[edit]

The Springfield Elementary School fourth grade class went to the Train Yard on its 100th anniversary. While here, they looked at Old Steamy, Springfield's first locomotive. Kirk Van Houten, who was working as a train engineer, showed them the wheels of the train as that was all he could show off with his 6th class train license.

After Bart, Milhouse, and Martin sneaked onto Old Steamy, they accidentally set the train going and broke the brake lever. Kirk later lost his job.
