Company Picnic

The Company Picnic is an annual event organized by Mr. Burns for the employees of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

History

On one occasion, the Simpson family attended the company picnic at Burns' manor. After observing the other families, Homer became aware of his own family's shortcomings and dysfunctions and decided to improve their behavior.

On another occasion, Homer attended the picnic and made a ten-foot hoagie, which he ate over the course of a week before getting sick from eating a spoiled sandwich.

Guillermo mentioned that at a Company Picnic, Mr. Burns mistakenly identified his son Renaldo as his son Rolando.
