Bart Simpson went there to buy a can of spray paint, but got distracted by armed policemen and decided to go to Krusty Burger instead.[1]
Behind the Laughter
The store and the interior including the paint shaker machine were inspired by the hardware store in Farmington Hills, Michigan showrunner Al Jean's father owned.[2][3]
