History

Bart Simpson went there to buy a can of spray paint, but got distracted by armed policemen and decided to go to Krusty Burger instead.

Bart goes to prank Homer on April's Fools Day by putting one of Homer's Duff Beer cans into a paint shaker machine.

Behind the Laughter

The store and the interior including the paint shaker machine were inspired by the hardware store in Farmington Hills, Michigan showrunner Al Jean's father owned.
