Hotenhoffer Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceuticals factory.

History

When Walther Hotenhoffer overheard Homer and Grampa talking about a drug that made Grampa happy, Hotenhoffer took a drop from Grampa's skin and took it back to Hotenhoffer Pharmaceuticals to be studied. The scientists extracted the compounds from the droplet and tested them on Grampa to find the correct one. The drug MusBeNys was then created out of this compound.

After the side effects of the drug came out, the Simpson family went to Hotenhoffer Pharmaceuticals to get help. A mob of elderly people also turned up at the factory, wanting more of the drugs despite their eyes having popped out of their heads. Hotenhoffer decided that he would destroy the drug instead as he couldn't take advantage of the people.
