History[edit]
Bart Simpson went there to buy a can of spray paint, but got distracted by armed policemen and decided to go to Krusty Burger instead.[1]
Bart goes to prank Homer on April's Fools Day by putting one of Homer's Duff Beer cans into a paint shaker machine.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The store and the interior including the paint shaker machine were inspired by the hardware store in Farmington Hills, Michigan showrunner Al Jean's father owned.[3][4]
