Krustybrook Woods is a modern planned community designed to combine a scenic countryside atmosphere with highly stylized, entertainment-focused housing and strict residential rules.
History[edit]
The development features carefully designed homes built with exaggerated “comedy-enhancing” amenities, including dumbwaiters, spring-loaded clotheslines, built-in ironing boards, and slick banisters. Kitchens are equipped with oversized chef hats, collapsing soufflé recipes, novelty straws, banana-peel-compatible flooring, and other themed conveniences intended to add humor to daily life.
The surrounding forest has been stocked with a variety of unusual and “fun” wildlife, including titmice, howler monkeys, and cuckoos. The entire community is lightly scented with Grin™, Krusty’s signature fragrance, released daily by crop-dusting planes painted to resemble Krusty’s head.
Located just outside Springfield, a large city-town with varied landscapes, multiple Krusty Burger™ outlets, and a moderately rated school system, Krustybrook Woods offers residents a controlled residential environment. The neighborhood is enclosed by a twelve-foot security wall and maintained by a trained security force, emphasizing safety alongside its themed suburban lifestyle.
