The Springfield Museum of Fine Arts is an art museum in Springfield.

History

Springfield Elementary School had a school trip to the museum, which Homer chaperoned. It was the home to Joan Miró's The Poetess painting before it was sold on an auction. At the museum, Homer became obsessed with the painting. The museum was then closed down with every exhibit being sold.

After the museum's closure, Homer came back here when Manacek was trying to figure out who stole The Poetess. Manacek then revealed the thief at the museum.
