After quitting being a reverend, Timothy Lovejoy, Jr. becomes a hot tub salesman here. He successfully sells a hot tub to Apu and Manjula and then annoys Apu by asking about decking. When Ned Flanders and Bart ask him to come back to the First Church of Springfield, he refuses, saying that he has found his calling, being a hot tub salesman.

Lovejoy later rolls into the First Church of Springfield in a hot tub likely from this shop.
