Cultural references

• The episode title is a reference to Frankenstein's Monster.
• Bend It Like Buffett is a reference to Bend It Like Beckham and Warren Buffett.
• The Art of Work is a parody of The Art of War.
• How to Succeed in Business by Trying! is a parody of the book How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
• Professor Frink says that he's never even won in Words with Friends, because he has no friends.
• The work interview is done on Zoom. Homer later imagines being on a zoom call on a monitor mounted on skis.
