When Homer had bypass surgery he told Marge that the America's health care system is second only to Japan, Canada, Sweden, Great Britain and all of Europe.[2]

When Homer told Moe he wanted to try something special, Moe added two dots to the label on a bottle of Duff and tried to pass it off as "Düff", a beer from Sweden.[3]

Lisa told Principal Skinner that in Swedish public schools, the students grade teachers on their performance.[4]
