The Springfield Badlands is Springfield's desert region.
History
The Simpson family arrived at the Springfield Badlands, only to end up getting a flat tire. Marge was tasked to get a new tire while Homer continued the story of his music band.[1]
Marge and Ruth arrived at the badlands, when they are followed by Homer and Chief Wiggum.[2]
The Springfield Badlands was revealed to be the greater location of the Alkali Flats; there, there is at least one building which Krusty used to broadcast his show when all television was stopped by Sideshow Bob.[3]
