Mattress King is a Mattress shop chain in Springfield. The chain is run by the Szyslak family, Morty, Moe, Marv and Minnie.
History
When Moe was younger, he and his family would star in commercials for Mattress King, which was owned by Morty Szyslak, the father of Moe. The commercials were what drew the customers to the store. However, the chain had a secret, Morty would release bed bugs in the stores of their competitors to drive the customers to Mattress King. When Moe was old enough, Morty told Moe to release bed bugs in another store. However, Moe didn't as it was also a family run business. The family who ran that store then released bed bugs in one of the Mattress King stores, losing customers. Moe was then kicked out and left the business. After this whole incident, only three stores were left open.
Years later, Morty contacted Moe again to tell him he was retiring and wanted Moe to have one of the three remaining stores, with Marv and Minnie having the other two. At the grand re-opening of Moe's store, Marv and Minnie sabotaged the commercial, claiming that people had died on Moe's mattresses. Moe then went to war with his siblings, with all of them trying to sabotage each others stores. Eventually, Marge had enough and went to tell Morty about what was happening. Morty came out of retirement and found everyone at the Mattress King Warehouse. In the warehouse, Moe had a jar of bed bugs and was going to release them over Marv and Minnie's mattresses. When Marge talked him out of it, Moe dropped the jar and bed bugs took over the warehouse.
