Season 33 is an upcoming season of The Simpsons. It is scheduled to start on September 26, 2021.[1] It was confirmed on March 3, 2021, along Season 34.[4][5]
Episodes
Other
- Al Jean is showrunning only 4 of episodes in the production season 33, including UABF02 and UABF03, plus something special.[50][51]
- Ruth Powers will return, voiced by Pamela Reed.[52][53][54]
- Scott Hanson will guest star in an episode, possibly show runned by Matt Selman.[55]
- David M. Stern will return as writer.[56]
- There are plans for Apu character, but "the staff has to see if it can make the stories work".[57]
- A series of Simpsons shorts, that will pay homage to some of The Walt Disney Company's top brands and Disney+'s most popular shows, will air on Disney+.[57][58][59]
- Michael Price will write an episode for a late season 33 or 34 episode.[60]
- Two episodes will be set in the future.[61][62]
- There will be Brandine-centric episode.[27].
- There won't be a Christmas episode.[63]
- Kristen Bell will guest star.[64]
