The Springfield Performing Arts Center is a performing arts center in Springfield.

History[edit]

Krusty the Clown starred as Franklin D. Roosevelt in a stage version of Sunrise at Campobello at the Performing Arts Center. During the performance, as he was speaking to Eleanor Roosevelt, he stood up from his wheelchair, much to the shock of the audience. It took him a few seconds to realize he was supposed to stay in the wheelchair.[1]
