*It's the first and only season without any [[chalkboard gag]]s whatsoever, and second season to not have one in the opening credits after [[Season 33]], though unlike Season 35, Season 33 featured three within episodes.

**The season also didn't include any [[billboard gag]]s either.

The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes[edit]

Due to the 2023 WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the season 35 will have in total 18 broadcasted episodes, making this season the second shortest of The Simpsons after Season 1 (13 episodes) and the second season affected by a strike after Season 19, which was affected by the 2007-2008 WGA strike.

Trivia[edit]

  • It's the first and only season without any chalkboard gags whatsoever, and second season to not have one in the opening credits after Season 33, though unlike Season 35, Season 33 featured three within episodes.
