The Simpsons made their way to Paradise Pier, which had old carnival rides. They were shocked to realize that the pier was being torn down. Homer jumped on a bumper car and rode off, eventually landing on an electric trolley track and colliding with Wiggum's police car. Later, Homer took an interest in a dumbbell that was for sale, and Marge bought a tandem bike after Homer said he'd go riding with her.[1]
