State Line is the border of Springfield's state.

History[edit]

The Springfield Retirement Castle once visited Plato's Republic Casino, located across the state line.[1]

After Chief Wiggum tried to stop the car in which Ruth Powers and Marge were traveling due to a busted tail light, Ruth accelerated and escaped because it was the stolen car of Ruth's ex-husband. Chief Wiggum and Homer caught up with them again. They were cornered by police cars two miles from the state line but drove off-road to the Grand Chasm. Homer took a megaphone, apologized to Marge, and warned her about the chasm, which made them stop. However, Homer and Wiggum drove into it but were saved by a pile of garbage, as the canyon was being used as a landfill.[2]
