Location Information
|
Skypark-Line was a walkway and park in Springfield, built on the remains of the old Springfield Monorail.
History[edit]
Skypark-Line was opened to the public in Springfield, which many Springfieldians visited on the day. When the power was turned on to the park, the old Monorail train got power and started up. It tore through the Skypark-Line, destroying a lot of it and killing Sebastian Cobb. Eventually, it crashed off the edge and destroyed a statue memorial of Leonard Nimoy.
Description[edit]
The Skypark-Line had benches, planters and solar-powered talking trashcans which thanked you for depositing trash. It also had a play area for children with rides. In some parts of the Skypark-Line, it was incredibly thin so two people couldn't pass at the same time.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The Skypark-Line is a rip-off of the High Line in New York City, which was built on a spur of the New York Central Railroad.
