Springfield Auction House, formerly Vacant Lot, is a facility designated for hosting auctions.
History[edit]
After Bart skipped school by pretending to go to the dentist, one of the places he visited was the Springfield Auction House. There, the auction announcer presented a painting that Bart "purchased" for 23 million dollars before running off laughing. The auctioneer then bid 21 million dollars, but he also ran off laughing before completing the purchase. When the auction announcer asked if anyone had made a genuine bid, it turned out that no one had.
