"Dark Knight Court" is the sixteenth episode of season 24 of The Simpsons and the five-hundred and twenty-fourth episode overall. It originally aired on March 17, 2013. The episode was written by Billy Kimball and Ian Maxtone-Graham and directed by Mark Kirkland. It guest stars Janet Reno and Maggy Reno Hurchalla as Janet Reno.

Synopsis[edit]

"Bart is falsely accused of pulling an Easter prank on the school marching band (stuffing rotten eggs in the brass section's horns), and Lisa must step in as his attorney to defend her brother. Meanwhile, Mr. Burns attempts to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a superhero, Fruit Bat Man."


Reception[edit]

"Dark Knight Court" was nominated for a 2013 Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement, Writing in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production. However, it lost to Futurama.[1]
