Hail to the Cat

Hail to the Cat is a Simpsons Comic Strip. It is in Simpsons Comics 87 in the US, Simpsons Comics 90 in Germany, Simpsons Comics 86 in Italy and Simpsons Comics 97 and the Simpsons Treasure Trove 2 in the UK.

Plot

The Whole of Springfield is broke, the police are laying of employees, Springfield Elementary uses Infotainment Weekley for history lessons, Arnie Pie doubles up as the mail-man, and the Court jury is replaced by a wheel of fortune. Mayour Quimby is keeping all the money. For a school project, Lisa makes a mock election between Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper. Ralph accidently sticks Snowball II election posters all around town, the citizens of Springfield believe it is a real election, voting Snowball into office. Lisa 'translates' for the mayor, by saying what she believes. Meanwhile former Mayour Joe Quimby. Lisa follows a law which states that new mayors can cancel out one part of the constuitent, and bans guns. This leads to a British Invasion, making Springfield a British city, and changes the laws to the English ones. The Springfieldeians start the New Revolutionary War, to chase the British out of town, to which the British respond by throwing hot chips at them. The Springfield citizens are about to give up, when Lisa saves the day by asking the British to leave politley, so they head back to England. Quimby is reinstated as Mayor.
