- When a man tells Homer that he will be sacrificed to an evil god from the ocean's depths, Homer asks if he means SpongeBob.
- American Exceptionalism, ESPN, Toys "R" Us and Watermelon Oreos' tombstones are seen.
Intrusion of the Pod-Y Switchers
- It's a parody of the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which in turn is a parody of The Thing. Comic Book Guy mentions it in-episode too.
- Steve Mobbs says that Roseanne has come and gone like a summer storm, referencing its renewal and cancellation.
- The MyPhone Ultima is a reference to the iPhone X.
- The Planet Express Ship from Futurama is seen, carrying a flag saying "Bring back Futurama".
- The Planet Express Ship is shot down by the SCV-197 USS Orville, a reference to the USS Orville (ECV-197) from the show The Orville.
- The Orville was a show by Seth MacFarlane, and this scene might reference their rivalry.
- A commercial for the Zii and the Zii3 is shown on a Radioactive Man comic.
- The alien version of Chief Wiggum mentions Jerry Steele.

- The gate of Geriatric Park says that it's "now Goldblum-free".
