[[Homer]] wanted his kids to watch him perform like a pro in the batting cages. [[Lisa]] suggested that Homer should put on a batting helmet but Homer declined because "it messes up his hair". Homer then proceeded to miss his first two swings. Homer then tried to have the ball bounce off the baseball bat but the ball was heading which was towards his eyes instead of the torso where the bat was positioned. Homer threw away his bat and rolled off the batting cages field. In his anger he went towards the baseball pitching machine, however the machine continued to shoot baseballs at him.
