Location Information
|
The Needle Exchange is a sewing store.
History
Marge and Jerri Mackleberry were going to bring their kids here. However, Lisa was late. Before she arrived, Sherri and Terri's mother offered to give Marge one of her twins. The twins then started moving around to confuse Marge. When Lisa finally showed up, she complained about the quilt that she and Marge were sewing, saying that it didn't represent her any more. Meanwhile, Sherri and Terri kept moving around until Marge got so confused that she saw three of them.
The motto of the store is "We mean sewing", which disappointed Otto Mann.
Behind the Laughter
Needle exchange programs allow intravenous drug users to exchange used needles for clean ones, with the goal being to reduce the spread of blood-borne diseases. Otto is evidently one such drug user, which explains his disappointment at learning that The Needle Exchange is a sewing store.
