Season 33 is an upcoming season of The Simpsons. It will start in Fall 2021. It was confirmed on March 3, 2021, along Season 34.[1][2]

- It's scheduled to have 22 episodes.[38]
- Only five episodes have been produced in the production season 33 so far, only 4 of which Al Jean is showrunning, including UABF02 and UABF03, plus something special.[39][40]
- Ruth Powers will return, voiced by Pamela Reed.[41][42][43]
- Scott Hanson will guest star in an episode, possibly show runned by Matt Selman.[44]
- David M. Stern will return as writer.[45]
- There are plans for Apu character, but "the staff has to see if it can make the stories work".[46]
- A series of Simpsons shorts, that will pay homage to some of The Walt Disney Company's top brands and Disney+'s most popular shows, will air on Disney+.[46][47][48]
- Michael Price will write an episode for a late season 33 or 34 episode.[49]
