The Simpsons Take the Bowl was a special live show that was shown during the Hollywood Bowl on September 12, 13 and 14 2014. Hank Azaria was the host of the show.
Opening Scene
"25 years ago... in a gorge far, far away..."
Homer's jump of the Springfield Gorge and the subsequent failed rescue scenes is shown ("Bart the Daredevil").
"And now...".
The Simpsons family arrives at the Hollywood Bowl's parking lot and get trumped by many cars getting in. The family proceeds through gates and then walks to the seats, while Bart and Lisa keep repeating "Are we at our seats yet?" and Homer answers "No". They see a bottle of Beer going down the steps and Barney go down with it, bowling over the orchestra then saying "Thanks the Beatles" and burping. They arrive at their seats that are on top of the Springfield sign. Homer shouts D'oh after eagle steals their show programme and the sign gets destroyed and only DOH remains.
Synopsis
Hank Azaria was joined by Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith to perform live. Scenes from all seasons were shown as well as new content written for the Hollywood Bowl. Jon Lovitz, Beverly D'Angelo and "Weird Al" Yankovic all performed and Matt Groening gave behind the scenes anecdotes to the audience.[1] Spider-Pig also made an appearance, singing his theme tune.[2] Conan O'Brien performed "The Monorail Song" with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles.[3] Music editor Chris Ledesma conducted a part of the convert devoted to Alf Clausen and his contributions to The Simpsons.[4]

The American anthem is played by the orchestra, and afterwards Matt Groening arrives, introducing the show and Hank Azaria.
Hank starts making the voices of Moe, Comic Book Guy, Bumblebee Man and Chief Wiggum, singing Let It Go too with Wiggum's voice.
Beverly D'Angelo and Yeardley Smith arrives, and after showing a scene from Colonel Homer, Baverly (dressed as Lurleen) sings "Bagged Me a Homer".
Hans Zimmer is invited to the stage by Hank next, talking about The Simpsons Movie, with scenes from it are shown, with The Longest Daycare shown right afterwards.
Yeardley Smith next talks about special guest stars before introducing Kipp Lennon and Nancy Cartwright singing Happy Birthday, Lisa with scenes from Stark Raving Dad.
After showing the scene from That '90s Show he's in, "Weird Al" Yankovic arrives next on the stage singing a Jack & Diane parody.
Meanwhile the Simpsons family arrives at the backstage where Homer activates some fireworks on the fireworks console and is subsequentaly beat up by security, the orchestra and Lisa, starting the intermission.
After the intermission, Hans Zimmer, dressed as Number 1, and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, dressed as the Stonecutters, sings Spider-Pig.
Next, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles sings We Do (The Stonecutters' Song) and See My Vest, removing their robes, revealing vests underneath.
Conan O'Brien, dressed as Lyle Lanley, arrives on stage and talks about his work on the show, and afterwards with Hank Azaria and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles sung The Monorail Song.
Hank is next dressed up as Duffman, while cheerleaders ("Alone Again, Natura-Diddily") were ready to shoot t-shirts from the t-shirt cannons, but Yeardley Smith/Lisa stops them, and they start handing over t-shirts normally to the public.
Hank, dressed as Moe, and Nancy Cartwright, reenacts the Ivana Tinkle prank call from New Kid on the Block next.
