Super Bowl Promo is a promo of the Super Bowl XLVIII featuring the Simpson family. The promo was first broadcast on FOX on January 26, 2014.

Plot[edit]

Zooey Deschanel introduces the Simpson family who sings the Super Bowl carol to the tune of the NFL theme. However, they begin complaining about the aspects of the game. Even Homer says that a beer costs $18. Terry Bradshaw reprimands Homer for complaining that the game is in New York because the weather is freezing. But the NFL wants to bring football back to its cold, exciting roots. Bart then complains that even the hot cocoa served is frozen. Lisa asks why they couldn't be in New Orleans, where the weather is as hot as Bourbon Street jazz. Marge tells her that the NFL always knows what it is doing. Curt Menefee then tells Marge that her remarks weren't enthusiastic enough for them. Homer agrees with his statement and informs Marge that football overruns are the only reason FOX is still a network. Michael Strahan rebukes Homer after what he said is not a FOX attitude. In response, Howie Long sends in Cleatus the Football Robot to remove the Simpsons from the studio. However, Homer retaliates by summoning Cletus, and they start fighting. The robot wins and begins eating chicken while he dances in the studio.
