It's a double-sized Christmas themed, sweet, emotional, funny episode.[4][5]

In one scene, Derren Brown attempts to hypnotize Homer Simpson to boost his spirits, but this inevitably ends up with Homer thinking he's a certain "sparkly elf". Professor Frink has a big emotional scene.[13]
