- Lisa's fantasy Harvard boyfriend is a parody of Oliver Barrett IV from the movie Love Story. Lisa using magic by nose-twitching and accompanying sound effect are referencing TV show Bewitched. The man planting a sign on the crumble building is Harvard founder John Harvard.
