Couch Gag Information
Duration: 0:04

Many of the women of Springfield rush into the living room of the Van Houten house, where Kirk is eating chips in his underwear. The women coming in cause him to rush out the room as they all sit down for their book club.

Appearances[edit]

Opening sequence[edit]

The opening sequence starts as normal, but when it reaches the school classroom, Lisa writes lines in cursive. She then leaves school on her bicycle, passing Shauna (holding a Malibu Stacy doll) and Jimbo, then Luann (wearing a shirt that says "Alexa, pour more wine!"). At a bookstore, Marge checks out A Secret So Small: Joanna's Requiem and leaves. Lisa then cycles past Lunchlady Dora, Julius and Bernice Hibbert (arguing outside a couples therapy building), Helen Lovejoy on her way to Moe's Tavern, Mr. Beaver, Mrs. Muntz as Muntzeena, Mrs. Risotto reading a law book, and Agnes Skinner waving her fist at Janice. She then passes the Van Houten house as Marge pulls into the drive for book club, with several other women following her shortly after.
