Synopsis
- When celebrity chef and food connoisseur Thad Parkour has had enough of food, Homer reinvigorates his love for it, and the two of them find Fat Tony's Stew of Violence. But when Thad steals the recipe from the mobster, he, Homer, and Fat Tony end up in trouble with the Prussian Mob. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa have a fight that lasts for several months.
Plot
At the Try-N-Save, after Bart calls shotgun to get in the front of the car, he and Lisa start fighting, with Lisa copying him. When Marge has had enough, she tells Lisa to sit in front. Bart becomes mad, and the next day, he starts copying her. The banter continues at school, while eating at a restaurant, and during an eye exam. At home, Homer watches Dude vs. Food, hosted by Thad Parkour, when Lisa interrupts him to ask him to tell Bart to stop, as it has been a month, but he ignores her and continues watching.
Two months later, Lisa finds a way to make the best of the situation by teaching Bart Mandarin, taking him to the Springfield Aquarium for her protests, teaching him how to play the saxophone, and then reflecting on what has happened during these months. She realizes that he will always be by her side and that she'll always feel loved and protected, and that he's the best big brother a girl could ask for. They hug, tell each other they love one another, and inspire Marge to call her sisters to tell them how much they mean to her, and Homer to tell Thad some things too, after wondering who taught them how to hug.
At Moe's, they watch Thad try some ramen from Des Moines, Iowa, but he fails and needs to drink milk with it before announcing that he's coming to Springfield to eat a 17-pound meatball at Luigi's. Fans gather there, but when Thad arrives, he's in bad condition after shooting too many episodes in a row and collapses into Homer's arms. At the hospital, he tells Homer he can't go on after dying three times in the ambulance. To help him, Homer takes him to a place where he can smell all the food in Springfield.
Suddenly, Thad smells something he's never smelled before, coming from Fat Tony's compound. When Homer realizes it's his home, he starts fearing for his life and invites Thad to leave, but Thad enters anyway to smell the stew. Tony tells them its sad story, the Tragic Tale of Gewalteintopf: The Stew of Violence. At the time, Fat Tony's father and Wilhelm von Wonthelm exchanged sons to maintain peace. When Wilhelm's son, Maximillian, doesn't share his passion for cuisine, but for ska revival, he discovers that Tony shares the passion instead and takes him under his wing. Years later, when Maximillian refuses the recipe for the Stew of Violence, a tradition in the Prussian mob, Wilhelm has a stroke and gives it to Tony before dying. In the end, Maximillian becomes the new head of the mob and still performs ska, dropping albums on SoundCloud.
One month later, Thad gets a new show, Kitchen Betrayals!, where he steals secret recipes and shares them with the world. He announces that the first recipe he'll steal is the Stew of Violence. Tony shows up at the Simpsons' home and takes Homer to a bridge to drown him, but Homer saves himself by saying he has a way to fix it. He plans on infiltrating the Chew Network and stopping the show from airing before the Prussian mob finds out, but they're followed by Maximillian's van.
They arrive at the network studios, where they're threatened to reveal how they did it. They realize it was through the backward sunglasses, but it's too late as the Prussian mob arrives. After a car chase, Homer takes them to his secret space, where Maximillian can smell his father's stew cooked all over Springfield thanks to Thad, triggering memories of his childhood. Later, Thad invites Homer to join him on his journey to new places, but Homer refuses, saying all he needs is right there in Springfield, at the The Lava Cake Manufactory, and Thad respects his decision. Thad keeps recording, using his sunglasses, as Comic Book Guy exits the restaurant and gives Homer his "Full is a myth" bib.

In the future, at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence building, Professor Lisa is the lead astrophysicist. When they establish contact with an alien ship, she is asked to convey humanity's first words to extraterrestrial life. However, Bart resumes copying her, and their message is received by Kang and Kodos, who, upon hearing their war-like nature, begin obliterating the planet, which explodes while Bart and Lisa tell each other it's their fault.
