The Springfield Toxic Waste Dump

Radioactive Waste is commonly seen around Springfield as an ominous green sludge-like liquid, often sealed in leaking drums marked with the radioactive symbo . These barrels are commonly seen due to the lax disposal methods of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and Mr. Burns.

On many occasions the liquid itself can be heard humming and throbbing as if it were alive. It is seen in many unsafe dumping environments such as under the sea, stuffed into trees, hidden in playgrounds and the homes of the plant employees[1].
