In it, the Great Pumpkin comes to life and becomes upset with humans carving up pumpkins, so he tries to eat everyone. The reason the episode couldn't be named "It's the Great Pumpkin, Milhouse" to exactly match its parody was because of a "big legal issue", according to executive producer [[Al Jean]].
