- The party planner, Kensey, says that Addy's mother was busy trying to get her son into the University of Southern California (USC).
- In the book Gallop Girls, George Washington's horse exposed Benedict Arnold's horse as a traitor. This is a reference to Arnold's leading the British army in battle against the soldiers whom he had once commanded, and his name became synonymous with treason and betrayal in the United States.
- A parody of the famous "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene is seen when Lisa finds Addy's horses. The Jurassic Park theme plays and a Brachiosaurus appears behind them.
- Bella-Ella uses Myspace.
- Kensey mentions singer Taylor Swift. She also says that she can not go back to working at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, an American seafood restaurant chain inspired by the 1994 film Forrest Gump.
- The TV show platform makes a similar sound to that of Netflix.
- The video about Lisa is uploaded on Instasnap, a reference to social media Instagram and Snapchat.
- The "Old-Man-apolis 500" is a reference to the Indianapolis 500 race.
- Lisa's phone is made by Subway.
- Sailor's Delight's set list consists of cover songs of Weezer: "Piece of Cake", "Happy Hour", "Buddy Holly", "Island in the Sun", "Blue Dream" and "Beverly Hills".
- The songs "Piece of Cake" and "Happy Hour" both play in the episode.
- Comic Book Guy says "Your Mos Eisley fracas has utterly harshed my Arrakeen spice buzz.", referencing both Star Wars and Dune.
- Luann and Kirk are wearing Amway clothes.
- During the chase scene on horses, Weezer's song "Blue Dream" plays.
- This episode was the debut of this song.
- Tessa Rose mentions they're going to destroy Lisa on Instagram, TikTok and Postmates.
- Sloan said that Netflix should make a series about Addy's social life, because it just committed suicide.
- Weezer play the theme song of The Simpsons during the credits.
Trivia[edit]
- In the episode, Bart seems afraid of horses, while he was previously seen handling Furious D fine in "Saddlesore Galactica".
- Skinner's behavior on driving away from the request at Addy's house is wrong, he'd have had to pick up Lisa and Bart first then drive to the airport, or the airport call would not have been received since he already had Lisa and Bart's.
Trivia[edit]
- Mike Wegman appears. ("Go Big or Go Homer").
