History

An illegal mob controlled a ring of Fish Logs which they intended to sell in Springfield, but the Springfield Police raided them and destroyed the collection from the orders (and bribe) of Mayor Quimby, as his nephew Freddy ran a fish stick factory and didn't want any competition.

However, Fat Tony gave Bart a case of Fish Logs to thank him for saving him from a police chase. With the Mafia as his suppliers, Bart sold the food to the students at Springfield Elementary under the pseudonym "Mr. B", making a huge profit which in turn reduced the income of Freddy's fish sticks and the Springfield Elementary cafeteria. Mayor Quimby and Principal Skinner agreed to close the school four months early so that Bart would lose his income. The Fish Log business subsequently collapsed.

Several years later when Bart was an adult, the Quimby fish stick company started to import Fish Logs from Shelbyville. While at work on a construction site, Bart ate Fish Logs on a binge and ended up in hospital needing a new digestive tract. Üter donated one, as when Bart had introduced him to Fish Logs in school, he was able to slim down after living on nothing else and grew up to become a film star.
