Springwart's School of Magicry is a school of magic for student wizards and witches.

Description

Except for some of the students being in classes together where they ordinarily wouldn't be, the students, teachers and staff of Springwart's School of Magicry are very similar to their Springfield Elementary School counterparts. Harry Potter is a student at Springwart's and attends Mrs. Krabappel's class.

The coursework at Springwart's includes all kinds of classes about magic, and the school holds periodic magic recitals. Lord Montymort keeps a close eye on the school, looking for students from whom he can drain their magical essence to add to his own power. To aid in capturing students, Montymort has enchanted some of the hand driers in the school bathrooms to transport students to his lair.

History

The school was seen preparing for an upcoming magic recital, and Mrs. Krabappel had her class practicing toad-to-prince spells. She sharply criticized Bart's work, but was very pleased with Lisa's prince. Montymort noticed Lisa's extraordinary skill and decided to capture her, and used a hand drier in the boys' bathroom to bring Bart to his lair, where he convinced him to help.

At the magic recital, Milhouse's Invisibility Cloak failed and left him standing naked on the stage, to the audience's disgust. Principal Skinner sprinkled them with Amnesia Dust to make them forget about Milhouse, and introduced Lisa, who was performing the levitating dragon trick. Bart put a licorice stick in place of Lisa's wand, so she was unable to control the dragon, which was really a transformed Montymort. Montymort resumed his true form, caught Lisa and started to drain her essence. However, Bart had a change of heart and attacked Montymort, killing him and saving Lisa's life. Montymort was then swallowed whole by his snake assistant Slithers.
