Behind the Laughter
- "Those Were the Days" is the theme song from the American sitcom All in the Family, which originally aired from 1971 to 1979. It was performed at the beginning of every episode by the two main characters, Archie and Edith Bunker.
- The music was written by Charles Strouse and the original lyrics by Lee Adams.
- Homer's and Marge's performance (sitting at the piano, singing slightly off-key, waxing nostalgic in the lyrics) is exactly the same as Archie's and Edith's, except for the parody lyrics.
- It is part of the "Lisa's Sax (Medley)" track on the album Go Simpsonic with The Simpsons.
