"A Serious Flanders (Part 2)" will be the 7th episode of season 33 of The Simpsons. It will air on November 14, 2021.[1][2][3][4]
"A Serious Flanders (Part 2)" is the second part of a two-part episode of The Simpsons and will be preceded by part one.
Synopsis
- "Uff-da! Things for Ned and Homer go from bad to gosh-darn worse in the stunning conclusion of this SIMPFLIX prestige crime thriller.[4]"
Ned Flanders is hunted down by a killer from the world of prestige streaming drama.[10]
It'll be a parody of Fargo and a big Ned Flanders' episodes.[2][11][12]
It is meant to be sort of non-canon, or at least more self-contained than usual episode. It's based on the kinds of crime shows people love to binge-watch on Netflix etc.[13]
Edna and Maude will not appear in the episode, while Timothy and Helen Lovejoy will.[14][15]
Production
The episode received a table read on December 17, 2020, but Al Jean chose not to reveal the title or any details on it, till the writer Cesar Mazariegos announced it after having being asked on Twitter.[1][16][17]
