- The segment Wanted: Dead, Then Alive's title is a reference to Wanted Dead or Alive, which has a lot of meanings through popular culture.
- The segment Homerzilla's title and the segment itself are parody of the original 1954 Godzilla and the 1998 American remake and subsequent renaming of that film's monster to Zilla.
- Agnes Skinner appears in the segment as the giant condor from Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster.
