- The episode title is a pun on the classic Henny Youngman one-liner, "Take my wife, please" which was also punned in the title of the Season 11 episode, "Take My Wife, Sleaze".

- When everybody is clapping when Vance Connor is introduced to the Hall of Fame you can see Maude Flanders in the crowd, despite the fact that she died in the Season 11 episode "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily".
