- The segment Wanted: Dead, Then Alive's title is a reference to Wanted Dead or Alive, which has a lot of meanings through popular culture.
- The segment Homerzilla's title and the segment itself are parody of the original 1954 Godzilla and the 1998 American remake and subsequent renaming of that film's monster to Zilla.

Goofs
- The title of the third segment is inaccurate as Bart, Lisa and Milhouse gain telekinesis rather than telepathy.
- In the first segment, when Lisa and Santa's Little Helper first look into the window and see Bart in the basement, there are no bars on the window but when the camera angle changes in the next scene, the bars appear.
