The Greatest Story Ever Holed

• The segment title is a pun on the film The Greatest Story Ever Told.
  • This segment has the third title that makes a reference to this movie; the others episodes are "The Wettest Stories Ever Told" from season 17 and "The Greatest Story Ever D'ohed" from season 21.
• The segment is a reference to the Large Hadron Collider.
• Comic Book Guy throws a DVD copy of the Disney film The Black Hole into the black hole.
